Phone repair has come a long way since the first mobile phones were introduced. In the early days, phones were simple devices with limited functionality. However, as technology advanced, phones became more complex and sophisticated, leading to a greater need for repair services.
The pictures below is my old phone, a Samsung Galaxy j7. Lets say I wanted to replace the battery, it could be done in two steps, remove the back cover and remove the battery. However, with newer phones, it requires much more skills and tools to replace the bettery. This is the reason why as consumers, we should push for repairability in our devices.
